Thorens TD 160 MK II

Description

Turntable

The Thorens TD 160 Mk II is a belt-drive turntable introduced in the mid-1970s and produced into the early 1980s, featuring a manually operated design and a suspended sub-chassis construction.

Its floating sub-chassis supports the platter and tonearm together, helping to reduce the influence of external vibration during playback.

The turntable uses a mains-driven synchronous motor for speed stability.
