They feature a 50 Hz to 28 kHz frequency response with 6.5″ Continuum cone mid-woofers and 1″ carbon dome tweeters to emphasize the treble in your audio. The rear bass port is designed to augment the bass effects. The 706 S2 speakers each have two pairs of binding posts, allowing you to bi-amp or bi-wire them. A pair of black grilles are included to augment the look of the speakers.

The carbon-dome tweeter is designed to raise the breakup threshold to 47 kHz for enhanced imaging accuracy and detail.
