These compact IMF speakers have been a great success. Despite the opinions of skeptics, Compact has shown that there is a refined layer of recipients of hi-fi services who do not judge the advantages of a speaker system on the basis of cost in relation to size. The advantages of using the same attention to design details in and cult IMF RSPM MKIV for housings with modest proportions as the Compact is a great achievement of the company. This required the implementation of a speaker set, which must necessarily be made qualitatively like the bigger brothers.

Thanks to the Super-Compact, the enclosure size is sufficient to accommodate a bass unit with a free air resonance of around 25 Hz. The figure illustrates the resistive load conditions which, without compromising the exceptional bass response, suppress the system from “conical convolution” from unwanted subsonic signals. The medium range is isolated in its own short transmission line.
